As the Communications and Marketing Specialist for the College of Arts and Letters at James Madison University, I manage the college social media accounts and website, design digital graphics and print marketing materials, maintain relationships with key departments within the college and other university staff who support the communication missions of the college.

I also write and publish articles about notable alumni, college events, faculty, and more to promote the college, and planned and designed the Arts and Letters Review, a college magazine launching in August 2022.

Feminisms & Rhetorics 2019

As Director of Social Media, I ran the social media accounts for the Feminisms and Rhetorics 2019 conference, â€‹coordinating with JMU's WRTC program and with the Coalition of Feminist Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition (CFSHRC).

As a committee member for FemRhet2019, I attended meetings and participated in discussions and decision making, created the 2019 DIY Shop, and worked to help make the conference successful at JMU at the registration desk and during sessions.

Secret Lair Comics

What started out as a project for a Writing in Business and Industry class has turned into a passion of mine.  I partnered with a local comic book shop, Secret Lair Comics, and have ran their Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook accounts from 2017 to 2020.

Secret Lair Comics is a welcoming space for any comic fan, and working with them has been incredibly rewarding in comic books and in experience!

The Cohen Center

As a graduate assistant with The Cohen Center, I ran their social media accounts and â€‹produced and edited Conversations at the Cohen Center, a podcast focused on graduate student and faculty research at JMU.

The center runs programming to help foster inclusive and diverse experiences for graduate students at JMU, and also helps graduate student fund travel for professional and academic conferences and co-host events and speakers with other JMU organizations.
