Becca Evans (she/her/hers), is a science-fiction and fantasy enthusiast with an eye on the publishing industry. She recently earned a Master of Art in Writing, Rhetoric & Technical Communication with a focus on accessibility in online publishing.
Becca works with Strange Horizons, a Hugo Award-nominated speculative fiction magazine. As an Accessibility Editor, she helps make the magazine's website and content more accessible to readers through content warnings and website updates. In her other position with the Development/PR team, Becca helps with the yearly fund drive, organizing volunteers, tracking data, and contacting potential donors and contributors.
Today, she's busy turning her love of speculative fiction into a full-time job. She is a co-host and contributor with the Hugo-nominated sci-fi/fantasy genre podcast The Skiffy and Fanty Show, and offers freelance editing and media management services. When she's not working, she's reading comics, haunting the fantasy section at her local library, or working on her latest article.
