Accessibility Study: Online Speculative Fiction
I began my study of popular online speculative fictions publishers as a resource for my own research, and this information did indirectly lead to my internship position with one of the publishers I studied.
I conducted a study of 29 online speculative fiction publishers and the accessibility of their websites, which involved creating a checklist based on federal and private accessibility standards, analyzing each website manually and through the WAVE tool that checks for code standards and issues, and cataloging each website's scores.
